Three IOS-xr commands that could be useful

Here's 2 IOS-XR command that could come in handy.

1:

How many times have you had a card hangup in a ASR chassis? Will instead of sending somebody to pull or reset the card, just do a reload.

The hw-admin from admin mode will allow you to reload the slot that specified. On CRS you have the option to power off the slot

note: you can monitor the status using "show platform"

2:

IOS-XR let's you compute  md5  hash for files. It's similar to  IOS  and the /verify


3:

When doing package upgrades and you want to  test the outcome before activate a new build, the activate command with test  option will display the outcome.
